A strand test should be done on very light hair( white or platinum) or hair that is highly porous as pigment may deposit and result in a subtle, temporary lilac color cast. Use our white smoothing treatment (a-Keratin Smoothing & Refinishing Treatment) not the tinted product if strand test shows unwanted deposits.
